Case study · Community SaaS · 2 weeks · From scratch

How a Yu-Gi-Oh community founder went from a format idea to a live platform in 14 days.

A longtime Yu-Gi-Oh player had designed an entire alternative format — new rules, a restricted-token economy, curated decklists — and built a community around it. But the format lived in scattered Discord messages and PDFs. Players had nowhere to browse cards, share decks, or learn the rules.

They came in asking for "a website." What they actually needed was a full content platform — a searchable card database, a decklist system, editorial space for rules updates, and a structure that could scale without a rebuild.

How a Yu-Gi-Oh community founder went from a format idea to a live platform in 14 days.

I shipped the entire platform in two weeks: card database with filterable pool browser, decklist system, editorial blog, custom restricted-card mechanic in the data model, and responsive design tuned to the founder's visual identity.

02 / Process

How I build your MVP
in 6–8 weeks.

One developer, one process, fixed scope, fixed price. Here's exactly what happens between our first call and your launch day.

Week 0
Scoping call
Free, 20 minutes. We talk about what you're building, who it's for, and what "launched" means for you. I tell you honestly whether 6–8 weeks is realistic.
Week 1
Scope lock + architecture
One-page scope doc: every screen, every feature, every cut. AI capabilities scoped here — what's real, what's a gimmick, what'll actually drive your product. Nothing builds until you approve.
Weeks 2–6
Build
Working version every Friday. You click around, leave feedback, we adjust. No black box. Real product, every week.
Week 7–8
Polish + launch
Bug squashing, performance, auth, deploy, domain. Your SAAS is live. You own everything. Two weeks post-launch support included.
Case study · My own MVP · Live build · Founder-to-founder

I don't just ship MVPs for founders. I'm shipping one myself.

Planning a group road trip in India is chaos. A WhatsApp group for chat. Google Maps for routes. A spreadsheet for expenses. Ten browser tabs for stops. I've lived this countless times. I'm building the tool I wished existed.

RoamLine is a group road trip planning app. Collaborative route building, smart stop insertion, live multi-vehicle tracking, expense splitting — all in one place.

I don't just ship MVPs for founders. I'm shipping one myself.

Every decision I make on your MVP is a decision I'm making on mine right now. I know what it feels like to cut a feature you love because it won't make launch. That's the empathy I bring — not vendor empathy, founder empathy.

03 / About

I build SaaS products for founders who need a technical partner.

A one-person studio, shipping to founders in the US and EU.

Most founders I work with come to me after something went wrong. They hired an agency that disappeared after the deposit. They hired a cheap dev who shipped something that barely worked. They tried weekends and watched six months evaporate. By the time we talk, they're not looking for a developer — they're looking for someone who will actually finish the thing.

That's what I do. I take a founder's idea and ship it as a real, live, launch-ready SaaS in 6 to 8 weeks. one person responsible from first call to launch day.

AI-first engineering, not vibe coding

Every founder in 2026 wants products built fast. Most developers bolt on a ChatGPT wrapper and call it done. I use AI to accelerate engineering— rapid prototyping, boilerplate scaffolding, strict context steering, and automated ops. I don't just vibe code; my 5+ years of experience dictates the architecture. The difference between a prototype and a product is whether the code still works when 1,000 users hit it at once.

I've earned 67 five-star reviews across Upwork and Fiverr. Every one came from shipping what I promised, when I promised it.

I also know what it's like on your side of the table. I'm building my own SaaS — RoamLine, a group road trip planner for India. Every decision I make on your MVP, I'm making on mine the same week.

I work from Mandi, in the Indian Himalayas. My clients are in Brooklyn and Berlin and Austin. When you send me a message on a Tuesday, you get a working feature by Friday.

What I ship

  • AI-powered SaaS MVPs in 6–8 weeks
  • Fixed scope, fixed price
  • AI, end to end
  • Solo build, direct access every day
  • 2 weeks post-launch support free
04 / FAQ

Questions founders ask before booking a call.

Honest answers to the things you're wondering at 11pm.

What if I don't know my full scope yet?+

Most founders don't. That's what the scoping call is for. In 20 minutes we'll talk through what you're building, who it's for, and what "launched" means. You need an idea, not a spec.

What does "fixed price" actually include?+

Everything in the signed scope doc. Design, build, deploy, domain setup, auth, payments if scoped, AI integration if scoped, and two weeks of post-launch fixes. No hidden line items.

What happens if we go over 8 weeks?+

On my side? You don't pay more. The fixed price is fixed. Most builds land inside the window because the scope is locked before I write a line of code.

Do I own the code?+

Yes. Completely. From day one. Code, repo, infra, domain, every credential. If you fired me the day after launch, another developer could take over in an hour. Non-negotiable.

Do you use AI to build my product?+

Yes — I use Claude and Codex to accelerate development. But I don't just 'vibe code'. My 5+ years of engineering experience dictates the architecture. I use AI for boilerplate and rapid prototyping, so I can spend my time on your complex business logic and ensuring the system is robust.

Why a solo dev over an agency?+

One person, first call to launch day. Decisions in hours, not weeks. If your project needs five developers, hire an agency — I'll tell you honestly on the scoping call.

Is working with someone in the Himalayas a problem?+

Not according to my 67 five-star reviews. Most clients find the time zone gap is actually their biggest advantage: you send a message at the end of your day, and wake up to a reply and often working code. It's like having a developer who builds while you sleep.

How do we start?+

Book a 20-minute scoping call. Free, no prep, no obligation. If I'm the right fit, scope doc within 48 hours. If not, I'll tell you — and introduce you to someone who is.

Your idea doesn't need
another month in Notion.

It needs 8 weeks and one developer who finishes what he starts.
